Job Scope:
•Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
•Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
•Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
•Upgrades security systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
•Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
•Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
•Analyze IT specifications to assess the security risks.
•Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans.
•Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs)
Job Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science
•CompTIA A+ certified (preferred but not required)
•With 2 years of IT related work experience
•Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience (preferably Sophos Anti-virus, Cisco Umbrella and Fortinet Firewalls)
•Has basic network administration skills (preferably Cisco Networks and SD-WAN)
•Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
•Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
•Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM Guides.
