Atlas Fertilizer Corporation joined the Philippine Coconut Authority’s 31st National Coconut Week and 4th International Festival held at the Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City on August 18-20, 2017. AFC sponsored a booth which showcased Coco Gro (14-5-20-0.02B), our manufactured fertilizer recommended for coconut.
Administrator Romulo J. dela Rosa of PCA said that the Philippine coconut industry has played a very important role in nation building. It has a great potential for industrialization that will provide employment and incomes to more Filipinos.
This year’s theme “Go Healthy, Go Wealthy with Coconuts” highlighted the versatility of coconut not only in creating wealth for the Filipinos , but also in promoting good health for the whole nation.
Featured in the exhibits were various products and by-products of coconuts like virgin coco oil, coco coir, coconut water, farm inputs like fertilizers and farm equipment and machineries. There were also presentations on the latest innovations and technologies in the coconut industry.
AFC team manned the booth displaying various non-traditional grades of fertilizers of the company. Brochures were distributed to visitors to guide them on fertilization for crops using non-traditional grade fertilizers AFC is producing. Recommendations on Cocogro application, the right amount, the right way and timing were explained by the technical team. Also shown were the latest audio visual presentations featuring our fertilizer CocoGro for coconuts and Top Dress (17-0-17) fertilizer for rice.
